The centre piece of many parties or events is the dance floor - it provides a focal point and, depending on choice of finish, will be instrumental in creating the desired atmosphere.
All dance floors are fully modular, giving you flexibility on size and, to a degree, shape. When calculating the size of dance floor required, a good rule of thumb is to allow for 30% of the total number of guests to be on the dance floor at any one time; and approximately 5 square foot of area per dancer. For example; an event with 240 will typically have 80 guests dancing, requiring 400sq.ft. of space. A 20ft x 20ft dance floor would therefore be adequate for an event of this size.
